Edit your Notion page, then click "Update" on your site card in the dashboard. Your changes are live in seconds. Paid plans also include hourly auto-sync so your site stays up to date even without manual updates.

Matrizen supports the vast majority of Notion blocks: headings, paragraphs, bulleted and numbered lists, to-do lists, toggles, callouts, quotes, dividers, code blocks, images, videos (YouTube, Vimeo, and direct uploads), file embeds, tables, and linked databases (including gallery and list views). Inline formatting — bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, inline code, and colored text — is fully preserved. Synced blocks and some third-party embeds may render with limited styling.

Your content is fetched from Notion only when you create or update your site. The generated HTML is stored on our CDN to serve your visitors, but we never store your raw Notion pages or access tokens.

Yes. All generated sites are fully responsive and optimized for every screen size — phones, tablets, and desktops.

Yes. Images, videos, and most Notion embeds are automatically included in your generated site.

No. Matrizen is an independent tool that uses Notion's public page API. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Notion Labs, Inc.

Yes. Starter, Pro, and Agency plans include custom SEO settings. From your dashboard you can set a custom meta title, meta description, Open Graph image (the preview shown when sharing on social media), and a custom favicon — for your whole site or for individual subpages. You can also mark any subpage as noindex to keep it out of search results (it stays live, it just won’t be indexed). All without touching any code.

Yes. Paid plans let you set a custom 404 page by pointing to any public Notion page. Visitors who land on a missing URL will see your branded 404 instead of the default one. The page is automatically rebuilt whenever you update your site.

Yes, automatically — on every plan including Free. A sitemap.xml listing all your pages and a robots.txt with the sitemap reference are generated at every deploy. This helps Google and other search engines discover and index your content faster.

Yes — Starter, Pro, and Agency plans include custom domain support. In your dashboard, open the Custom Domains panel for your site and enter your domain. You’ll see the exact DNS records to add depending on whether you’re connecting a subdomain or a root domain. Add them in your domain registrar, then click Verify. DNS propagation typically takes a few minutes, occasionally up to 24 hours.

Yes — the Redirects & Hide Pages feature (Starter, Pro, and Agency plans) lets you create URL redirect rules (e.g. /old-page → /new-page or an external URL) and hide specific Notion sub-pages from your published site's navigation and sitemap. Changes take effect after you rebuild your site using the Update button.

Yes — automatically on every plan, including Free. A feed.xml is generated at every deploy and served at yoursite.matrizen.app/feed.xml (or your custom domain if configured). Each subpage on your site becomes a feed item. You can copy the feed URL from the Feed button on your site card and share it so readers can subscribe in Feedly, Inoreader, Reeder, or any other RSS reader — no setup needed.

Yes — free on every plan, including Free. Pick a language when you create a site, or change it anytime from the Language button on your site card. You can choose from 14 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Turkish, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. Your site's navigation, footer, dates, and the SEO and social tags (the HTML lang attribute, og:locale, and the RSS feed language) all switch to that language so search engines and social platforms read your site correctly. Yes. Paid plans let you upload a custom header logo image and set custom logo text. You choose between Auto (uses your page title), Hidden, or a fully custom label — all from the Branding & 404 tab in your site’s SEO settings.

Yes. Paid plans unlock color themes (Classic Gold, Sapphire, Emerald, Crimson, and Amethyst). You can switch the theme from your site card in the dashboard at any time — no rebuild needed.

Yes. Starter, Pro, and Agency plans include a Custom Fonts picker in the SEO & Branding settings. Open the Custom Fonts tab, choose a heading font and a body font from the curated Google Fonts library, and click Save & Apply. Your site is rebuilt with the new typography automatically.

Yes, automatically. Every generated site includes a dark/light mode toggle that your visitors can switch at any time. It works regardless of which color theme you choose.

Yes — Starter, Pro, and Agency plans include a Custom Code tool. Open the Custom Code panel from your site card and add CSS, JavaScript, or raw HTML in their own tabs — Google Analytics, Intercom, Hotjar, cookie banners, custom styling, or any other snippet. Everything is injected into your site's <head> automatically at the next rebuild.

Yes — free on every plan, including Free. The layout button on your site card has two tabs. Homepage Hero: if your homepage has a Notion cover image, choose Overlay (the title centered over a full-bleed image) or Stacked (the image on top, with the title below it instead) — new sites start on Stacked. Subpage Covers: the same choice for every subpage with a cover image, Banner (a full-width image above the title) or Card (a small rotated photo-card) — new sites start on Banner. Changing either rebuilds your site automatically.

Yes — free on every plan, including Free. The template button on your site card lets you switch between Classic (the original header, footer, breadcrumbs, and related-pages style, and the default) and Modern (a cleaner, neutral restyle of the same four — no color accents, uppercase-tracked type). This is separate from the Layout button's hero/subpage-cover choices, so you can mix and match. Changing it rebuilds your site automatically.

Yes, on the Agency plan — up to 30 people, one for each site you can host. You can invite a co-owner, who gets access to every site in your account including ones you create later, or invite a client to just the single site you built for them (they sign in with their own free Matrizen account and never see anything else you host). Each invitation carries a role: Viewer can look at the site and its analytics but change nothing; Editor can publish updates and edit SEO, redirects, forms, language and template; Manager can do everything on the site including domains, custom code and password protection. Requesting deletion, billing, and inviting other people stay with you alone. Remove someone whenever you like — their access ends on their very next click. If you later move off Agency, team access pauses but nothing is deleted: everyone comes straight back if you upgrade again.

Yes. Starter, Pro, and Agency plans include password protection. Enable it from your site settings, set a password, and visitors must enter it before accessing any page. You can disable it at any time without rebuilding your site.

Yes — on every plan, including Free. Enable it from the Security section of your Account tab using any authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, etc.). This protects your Matrizen account itself, separate from the optional password protection you can add to a published site.

Yes — on Starter, Pro, and Agency plans you can enable Form Handling for any site. In Notion, add a text block containing exactly [contact-form] where you want the form to appear, then rebuild your site — the form’s HTML, CSS, and JS are injected automatically, no custom code needed. Configure one or more destination email addresses in the Forms modal and all submissions are forwarded straight to your inbox. You can also fire a webhook on every submission to connect with Zapier, Make, or other automation tools.

Matrizen Starter, Pro, and Agency plans all include a built-in analytics dashboard showing page views, unique visitors, top pages, and visitor geography — no third-party service required. Pro and Agency plans also include a shareable, read-only analytics link you can send to clients. On any paid plan you can also inject your own analytics snippet (Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, etc.) via the Custom Code tool.

Yes — paying yearly saves you 2 months compared to monthly billing (roughly 17% off). You can switch between monthly and yearly at checkout. The yearly price is $49 for Starter, $189 for Pro, and $989 for Agency.

You can cancel anytime from the billing portal. Your sites stay fully active until the end of your billing period. After it expires, all your sites are taken offline and you’ll see a prompt in the dashboard with two options: keep one of your existing sites on the Free plan (paid features are removed), or delete everything and start fresh. Sites you don’t keep are permanently deleted — including all files and settings. If you don’t make a choice and instead resubscribe before acting, all your sites and settings are restored exactly as they were.

Yes. The number of sites depends on your plan — 1 on Free & Starter, 5 on Pro, and 30 on Agency. You can manage all your sites from the dashboard, and upgrade your plan anytime to add more.

Yes — click the Delete button on the site card in your dashboard to send a deletion request. It isn't instant: the site stays live and unaffected until the request is reviewed and approved, usually within a day or two. This is deliberate, to prevent accidental or repeated delete/recreate cycles. Deleting your whole account (all sites and data) is separate and immediate — see Account Settings.

The Free plan lets you publish one site on a free Matrizen subdomain (yourname.matrizen.app). It includes Matrizen branding, daily auto-sync, and 2 manual rebuilds per day. It’s a great way to try the product before upgrading.

Billing is handled securely through Polar, our merchant of record. You can manage, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal.
